Visit From the New Postdoc Jan Sodoge
Jan Sodoge, a new post-doctoral researcher working on the INFLUX project, visited the Stockholm Resilience Centrefor two weeks in March. Jan is currently based at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Germany and completed his PhD last year, focusing on multi-sector drought impacts and text mining. He began participating in the INFLUX project's online meetings in November. During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet other team members in person and contributed to the project by developing a pipeline to assess the impacts of emerging pests and pathogens. He also presented his research on drought impacts during a seminar at the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
